This workshop is suitable for those who would like to start growing their own cut flowers or expand their cutting patch in 2025. Whether you are complete beginner or are looking for new ideas, we will guide you through our flower growing process and share our knowledge and tips with you.

Starting with a tour of the cutting garden, we will discuss which varieties we grow and how we ensure a succession of flowers throughout the season. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions as we sow seed varieties and practice pricking out and potting on seedlings for you to take home.

We will cover ground preparation, hardening off, planting out, protection, staking and ultimately when to cut and condition your home-grown flowers.

Refreshments will be provided and we will also give you a selection of our own seedlings to take home ready to plant out. The workshop will take place in our greenhouse and walled garden so please wear warm clothes and suitable footwear. We do expect that the workshop will be able to go ahead whatever the weather.
